Developing and Disseminating ‘Knowledge Products’ to Support Effective Service Delivery in the Federal Governance Structure of Nepal

The Constitution of Nepal has defined the country as a federal democratic republic with three levels of government: federation, province and local. Accordingly, elections to all the three levels have been successfully conducted in 2017. Since Nepal is new to federal set up, the local representatives are still grappling with different governance mechanisms. Representatives are going through the teething phase and there is an immediate need of equipping the representatives with knowledge about their functions and roles, development works to be carried out and proper norms and processes to be followed in management of service delivery and decision-making process. This project aims to provide these knowledge products to the representatives in Province 2.
