Opportunity for Media Fellowship

Strengthening Citizen Engagement in Anti-Corruption Efforts (STREAC) is a project implemented by a consortium of 4 organizations in partnership with the Governance Facility to address issues relating to corruption through civic education.  One major component of STREAC is an anti-corruption media fellowship program.  This will include:

  • Capacity building, sensitization and mentoring of competent mid-level journalists in investigative journalism to enhance their skills in in-depth anti-corruption reporting.
  • Fellowships awarded to selected journalists at the end of the training program to unveil stories that will help establish evidence at the local and national levels.

The consortium invites applications from mid-career young journalists with a minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in journalism, to participate in the capacity development and anti-corruption media fellowship program. Journalists must be affiliated with media organizations. Interested journalists should submit their applications along with their biodata, samples of in-depth reporting (on anti corruption issues if possible) and 3 references by 28 March 2016. Journalists from marginalized groups and working women journalists are encouraged to apply.

All applications should be emailed to info@odcincorp.com. Hard copies can be mailed to:
