Anti-corruption training for journalists concludes 

Lalitpur, 22 June – Three day training on anti-corruption for journalists has concluded in Lalitpur on 21 June.

The training was organised for enhancing skills of new and mid-level journalists working in print, broadcast and online media to write investigative news.

Participating trainees said that the training was interactive and they learned various aspects of investigative news and governance.

The training conducted under the project Strengthening Citizen Engagement in Anti-corruption Efforts was organised by Organisation Development Centre (ODC), one of the consortium partners in the project.

Development Communication Society-Nepal (SODEC), Centre for Media Freedom (CMF) and Nepal Centre for Contemporary Research (NCCR) are other partners in the project.

Prof. Dr. Rama Krishna Regmee, senior journalist DhrubaHari Adhikary, ex-registrar of the Supreme Court Dr. Ramkrishna Timilsina, former minister and law secretary Madhab Paudel and journalists Binod Dhungel trained journalists on different issues in corruption control and promotion of governance.

Around 15 journalists across the country participated in the training.
