Eighth meeting of Advisory Committee held

Anti-corruption Expert Advisory Committee meeting for the project “Strengthening Citizen Engagement in Anti-Corruption Efforts (STREAC)” was held on 10 November at Centre for Media Freedom (CMF) office, Kupondole Road, Lalitpur. The meeting was attended by members of the Advisory Committee along with project team from CMF and Development Communication Society-Nepal (SODEC).

The meeting focused on informing Committee members about progress in project activities and on reviewing those activities. Especially, attendees of the meeting gave suggestions in inviting speakers in the consultation workshop on ‘Promoting good governance, transparency and accountability in Regulatory Offices in line with UNCAC compliance’ to be held in December.

CMF informed Advisory Committee members about student orientation programme to be held in Hetauda from 12 to 13 November.

Advisory Committee members Geeta Pathak Sangroula and Madhab Poudel gave suggestions in fine-tuning pre- and post-test questionnaires to be administered to students during the orientation programme. They also gave suggestions for inviting offices concerned in the UNCAC workshop.
